I had one of the best meals of my life here! The Alaskan steam pot is a must order for anyone looking for crab legs in the Outer Banks area. Goodness gracious, just look at it! It?s fantastic! We will definitely be back when we?re down here again!

Called early just when dinner service starts to place a takeout order for 10 people. Happy to wait, no rush. Half of our order was ?not available for takeout.? It?s not like we weren?t ordering 10 high priced entrees, but apparently they didn?t want ourbusiness and said it was nonnegotiable the takeout items we wanted were not for take out only for dine in. I?m an across theboard 20% tipper and with all of the extra orders of streamers our group wanted this was an easy 300- sale. Well not anymore.Had to regroup and get a whole new dinner order going. Great way to treat hungry, vacationing customers happy to drop a decentchunk of change on dinner. Oh well. We will happily bring our business to someplace that actually wants it.

Great food and service!! Had the oysters and shrimp cocktail as well as the lobster roll. All had superb taste. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely AWESOME! We designed our own steamer pot were well satisfied! It's difficult to find a place that serves straight-up AWESOME steamed seafood! I love the fact that this is not a fancy place that serves over-priced plates loaded withfillers! If you want to get your fill of seafood while at the beach, THIS IS THE PLACE TO OVERINDULGE! At the end of our FEAST,we still had a little more room, so we ordered a few crab cakes, which topped it all off perfectly! The staff was courteous,helpful on-point from service cooking to casual conversation. This is a place that has been around for a while, but theyserved us like we were there first customers! When we are back in the area, we will enjoy FATCRAB'S again!

?looks like fishes?? ??smells like fishes?? ??with Frank?s hot sauce and Tabasco? [they?re all correct. the spicy seafood gumbo was probably the spiciest (and tastiest) i?ve ever had. the Conch Fritters are really good and the mango habanero to diefor!! well worth the trip.
