Beach Taco Shack - Coronado

Amazing day on the beach. We paid the $50 a person luxury beach day, it was worth the price although there is not enough waiting staff for the dining area. We bought our own drinks at the bar in the hotel.

Best shrimp taco I've ever eaten!! Great drinks! A bit expensive for SURE but if you have to save money, go for it!

3.5 stars for the Tacos. 0.5 stars for the friendly staff. As much as I loved the mood of the sun deck so when you look for the crack experience, don't look further than the beach Shack. You have tables in front, some high, some low, other picnic table with mismatched chairs and parasols. Music plays around you and you can see how people chill, play, are ready to come into the water, before you. If you ever wanted the relaxed beach Vibe, that's it!! We chose beef, fish and shrimp tacos and chips and salsa. I liked the fish, shrimp, beef in descending order. I liked everyone. They are not everywhere nearby what you would get at Taco stand or Salud, but you will also not get the Vibes at these places. I lived the salsa when it was based gauc. The chips were decent. For the two of us, the whole food was quite crowded. In the early afternoon on the beach it is good. FYI: You can use the Del Essgut here.

Long lines and long wait, but worth it. Spicy shrimp tacos were the best! Daily catch was a bit dry, but a healthy chunk of fish.

Great location for snack and drink. It's on the pricey side but you are paying for the prime location. Great views for sunset or people watching. The table and chairs are right on the sand with umbrellas. Would come again with out of town friends for classic Coronado beach experience.
