Brigantine Seafood - Coronado

I visited this restaurant during my week in town, and I had a fantastic experience. The food was excellent, and the service was equally impressive. I tried the clam chowder, chicken nachos, and fish and chips, all of which were superbly prepared. I would definitely return and recommend this place to others!

I had lunch in Brigantine and it was a great experience. Our server, Marianna, was fantastic. The portions were on the smaller side for the price, but the food was delicious. My friend ordered the fish and chips, which came with fries, while I went for the swordfish tacos served with hand-cut chips. I wasn't a big fan of the coleslaw; it just wasn't to my taste. However, the staff was pleasant and very polite throughout our visit.

I had a decent experience at this restaurant. I visited on a Saturday at 9 a.m., so the main dining area was closed, but the Oyster Bar menu was available and had plenty of options. The service was good and quite prompt. We ordered a beer, the Day Spa cocktail, the Jumbo Klumpen crab cake, a swordfish taco, and Cioppino. The Day Spa cocktail was very sweet—too sweet for my taste, as I was expecting a cooler, more subtle flavor profile. However, the crab cake, especially the fresh claw, was delicious. The taco was just okay—not particularly impressive—but the addition of their hot sauce improved it. The Cioppino was decent, though the white fish in it wasn't great. On the bright side, the accompanying garlic bread was fantastic, especially when served warm! Overall, it was a decent meal for the time of day, but I’m uncertain if I'd return specifically for the Oyster Bar menu. I did notice signs advertising Sip Color, brunch, and half-off wine on Wednesdays, so I might check those out sometime.

Happy Hour is a good offer for food specialists. $6 per: Shell Shells, Salad, Fish Taco Slider. Excellent service. Popular for outdoor dining.

We had an amazing experience! Israel was the best server we have had on our whole trip. Definitely recommend!!
