The only problem is if you are in business to sell food, it is usually a good idea to be open – especially during the set, regular hours. Long story short, on this last Tuesday my son and I moved some five miles from our way to get there, fought for and paid for street parks, got my little boy out of the car and over the traffic... just to find a sign that read: “A few hours closed.” Excuse me? At 4:30 in the afternoon! And with an eternal sign, no less there was no start time published on the shield . It'll be better. While my son and I tummy's rumors stood, our heads scratch, a guy comes out of the locked door, gets something out of his pickup truck, then quickly sleeps inside. All right in front of us; no eye contact, no “we will soon be open”. Nothing. Yes, it is a free country, but to have retail in a place like Coronado, where the commercial space has a premium, a business person must show at least a reasonable degree of courtesy and professionalism. I'm sorry to say this place isn't. It only makes you wonder what the cook does there with the falling tortilla on the floor. Back to the grill. I think I'm going to eat again and again in this facility. Boycotting makes a big comeback in this tense economy. Please join friends and...
Vegetarian options: Try the soychorizo burrito so good and huge portion size for $13
This isn't just a good taco shop. It's a GREAT taco shop. All items taste great, ample sized, and prices are very reasonable. Excellent attention to detail by owner /manager. Employees are super nice and professional. Been coming here for years, and they just keep making it better and better. ? ??
Extremely mediocre take on Mexican food or rather a mediocre attempt at Cali-mex. Food is not super fresh, ordered cheese enchiladas, cheese on inside wasn’t fully melted. You can do much much better in barrio Logan.
Authentic Mexican restaurant. High quality food. Loved it!
