Very accommodating, magnificent demeanor and attentive. He even offered to replace my lobster bisque as it came out in the court of my friend---I went off, and although it was cold when I ate it, it was still with many lobster bites and not just pieces like most places. My friend said that her steak was cooked for perfection, and Patrick was very familiar with the questions he had regarding the cut and the temperature she had before. Apparently the horseradish is also something to see! The cocktails are very funny, affordable for the location and atmosphere. And one cannot beat the view of the flood that comes into the sand while the boats pass while the local picnic on the grass. We were privileged with a breathtaking sunset you can only reach in San Diego. My only complaint is that even though they knew it was my friend's birthday, they were not a free dessert as I thought was quite common for restaurants. Admittedly, she has Celiac disease (yes, lawful), so unfortunately there is not much suitable for this on her dessert menu trick recommended scraping of the crust, but this is regrettably not an option for people with the disease, as it threatens contamination, so I will do this up to less from a supervision and more from a safety precaution that she decided to do by avoiding a day dessert. I'm not sure if they have ice cream or something they could only have served with a candle, but my friend felt a bit kicked off. My proposal would be to communicate these concerns instead of leaving their feeling for something that it cannot control. Five more stars, though I'd say 4 1/2 if this were possible. Again, top service otherwise and the facility is beautiful. We'll still be back!
Delicious food and spectacular views of San Diego from all over the bay. Great place to sit outside and enjoy dinner and sunset. Great atmosphere and seating inside. We were early for dinner without waiting to sit. Friendly staff and our waitress had great food and drinking recommendations!
This place is really not bad. There's a great view when you look outside. The food is not the level you expect for what you pay. I'd say it's more on the line of a tourist trap. The service was a little strange that our server said they were playing day with another, and then we had a fairly long wait for the first drinks before we could order.
It seems that people have either a great experience or a not so go experience. Our lunch was great. 30min are waiting for space for short staff. We sat on the terrace for the city view. The waiter was great. The food was great. We ordered a bowl of lobster bisque, the shrimps Cobb salad and a few burgers. The lobster in the bisque was fresh and not precooked. The salad was great. The burgers were good too. The avocado was almost half in the burger. A great experience. We definitely come back when we're in town.
Dining with a beautiful view of the San Diego Bay. Elegant and variety of tasty dishes. Cocktails are a must too. Service is good. Dine outside for a beautiful experience, or sit inside where it looks like an aquatic attraction. Hidden jem in Coronado island. You can even ride the ferry from downtown and just a very short walk from the Coronado ferry center.
