We had to wait about an hour to enjoy dinner, but the food was great and we were all very satisfied. A recommendation to my list!
Beautiful atmosphere, great service and wonderful food. We share the crab cake, spring green and seafood stew. My wife was wonderfully surprised. She never ordered the stew and loved him.
Nice place and the food was great!!!! We have a beautiful, friendly and polite worker... The nice waiter for our table was so generous and helpful in terms of choice of meal and had an Albanian name meant Falcon
The brunch buffet is not huge, but the options are plentiful and very fresh. Fruit, pancakes, waffles, breads, pastries, cereals, hot cereals, hot station with meat, eggs and potato options. Large flavors and good pastries with a great view of the beach
We completely enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Sheerwater! We were seated on the covered part of the patio which provided an excellent view of the surf. If we had chosen to be seated on the ground-level patio, our view would have been obstructed by a large private event occurring on the lawn. Our waiter Sean expertly guided us through our meal. The food was top-notch as expected. The atmosphere, food, and location are great, but it takes a talented server like Sean to really transform the experience to exceptional. We started with cocktails: Flor De Cactus and the Grapefruit Collins, both were excellent. For dinner I chose a glass of the Cotes du Rhone (also excellent). We shared the Lump Crab Cake as an appetizer. Perfect, the salsa was a great compliment to the moist and delicious crab cake. For dinner, my wife devoured the Baja Seafood Stew which she says was the best she 's ever had ! I chose the Local Catch of the Day which was halibut cooked to perfection. The piquillo peppers were sweet, the squash tender. We didn 't need the extra dish, but also shared a side of mashed potatoes. Creamy, buttery, and delicious. Chatting with Sean throughout our meal was a real treat. He 's very knowledgeable about wines and spirits. When I mentioned that I couldn 't decide if I wanted to get back into wines or beers, he suggested why not both! . As very special treat in honor of our anniversary, the manager comped us the Molten Mexican Chocolate Cake, and Sean nudged me back into wines with a comped pour of their 20 Year Tawny Port! Wow, what a treat. I think Sean might be on to something. Thank you, Sheerwater staff, for a very special evening, and especially to Sean for guiding our experience.
