Newmarket Hotel - COROWA

Great place for a pub meal, we went to the new market for a family dinner and the food was good for a pub, the ribeye was cooked just right so did all the other food on the table.

We are staying at Greenacres Motel and Haydn , the owner suggested Newmarket as having good pub food. He wasn't wrong. I had lambs fry and bacon, hubby had lamb cutlets. The best cutlets, locally made from Corowa local butcher, thick, meaty and no fat, absolutely delicious. My lambs fry equally tasty.The publican was a lovely lady, friendly and helpful . We will definitely be back

Forget yuppy, with a small meal piled up in the middle of your plate. But, in saying that, I'm sure they could do that for you, but it would probably extent to the outer limits of your plate. I have dined in the "silly hat" restaurants in Melbourne and water front Sydney and have been disappointed. So!! You locals and visitors, dine on a rib eye, pork chop, flathead fillets etc., with all the trimmings AND! Country hospitality of the owners, Irene and John..You won't go wrong..
