On The Border Mexican Grill Cantina Corpus Christi

Great food, good portions and good service. the only negatiw is that the plate may have been a bit to long under heat lamps and dry the rice. it's a fact that I've fed at the border, but I'm sure I don't miss having one in my hometown. it was not too busy and the personal did well to the bus tables. clean toilets and military discounts!

1st time at this place. welcomed immediately when we went into the door. our waitress, daisy, was amazing! did not have to write our order on a ticket book. everything right. we were on our drinks, chips and salsa and everything else. the culinary experience is a success! keep the good work daisy!

I give 5 stars for the service. when they feed here, ask for cat special. she is friendly and attentive. she made me feel like she was running my tía straight into the kitchen to grab a teller. the sweetest lady ever! the food was overpriced for quality. that is the mind bell tastes more expensive. margaritas were $5 too happy hour and were good for the price. We sat on a dirty table at the hostess. I tried to pay little understood because I didn't eat directly from the table, but I worked in the food service industry and I never (also before kovid) had sat someone on a dirty table. our server cat transformed a very disappointing situation into a pleasant experience. she is a very valuable employee!

This can be our new favorite Mexican restaurant! we tried to find mistakes with them, as our old favorite Mexican restaurant was just on the street, but there was nothing we didn't like! we shared the day-fajitas and had enough left to take some home. we will definitely come back!

If you get served by Cat , you will have a great experience. She makes you feel like you are important and what you eat matters to her ! A credit to this restaurant! Look after this asset !
