Today around 11:15 am, I encountered a rude male employee who mishandled my order. I hadn't even left the parking lot, and I had my four drinks and receipt to prove that he had made a mistake. Despite the evidence showing that I ordered two 32 oz drinks, he insisted that my order was correct, even though he charged me for three 32 oz drinks and one 20 oz drink. After our argument, he simply turned away, leaving another female employee to come over and apologize as well as fix the order. I was very disappointed with how I was treated, especially since I had proof in my hand. If he can't be polite, he should consider a different line of work. As someone who works in customer service myself, I tried to remain polite throughout the interaction, so there was no reason for him to treat me rudely.
The staff here is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! They consistently have my order prepared quickly. I like to try something different each time, and they are always ready to assist me in making a selection.
I ordered a smoothie that was on sale and they didn't tell me I needed an add on to get the sale. I looked at my receipt and noticed I did not get the discount. I asked her about it and she said I needed to get the add on to get the receipt. I told her that was misleading and she laughed. I then said that it's not funny and I left the store yelling. I apologize for my outburst, it was not appropriate. I am not bothered by the $2 off, it's just money. What bothered me is that the lady did not let me know I needed the add in to get the discount, and that she laughed when I said it was misleading. I understand the stressful environment of having t take a bunch of orders and the logistics of the restaurant industry but I felt really low. I spend money here quite often, and I always leave a tip, why do I feel scammed? The behavior I encountered today was very scummy. I will continue coming to smoothie king, but probably not this location.Edit: the employee according to my receipt was Haylee
Amazing place. I called because my foot is broken and its a pain to get out of the car so they brought it out to me and let me pay in cash!!
