Once Upon A Sandwich - Cortez

It was my first time, so it may be I caught them on an off day. There weren't a lot of people, but the service was slow, and it was super cold in there. It took so long that we ended up asking for our food to go and the server seemed annoyed at my request. I've heard good things about this restaurant so I'll give it another try.

This family-owned sandwich shop has been serving delicious food since 1990. The menu offers a great variety, including salads, sandwiches, and burgers. I particularly enjoyed the Turkey Swiss Reuben sandwich, and the chocolate zucchini cake for dessert was incredibly moist. They provide generously sized drink cups and offer to-go cups as well. I was also impressed by the hospitality of one of the owners, who took the time to share the story of the restaurant.

The food was fresh and delicious, and the specials board offered fantastic options. Service was quick and friendly.
