Carvers Steakhouse - Cortland

My dinner lasted two hours, and I was disappointed with the experience. The lobster was undercooked, and I ended up spending $160. I drove by Cicero, NY to get there.

The food was incredible! We also loved making s'mores at our table. However, I noticed there wasn't much advertising about what they truly have to offer. I did see some s'mores displays in the lobby, and we were definitely intrigued by them.

We were pleased with our breakfast, but unfortunately, our dinner experience was disappointing. The steak was overcooked, there were no sides included with the meal, and it felt overpriced. Additionally, our bread arrived late.

Expensive cheap. My steak had so much gristle, half the steak was inedible. My wife’s steak was Very good. My mother in laws salmon was “ok”. It was loud and cold in the restaurant. We asked that the staff keep the doors closed, but they didn’t. Two tables of customers worked together to try and keep the doors closed and the cold air out. Did not meet my criteria of having better food than I can have at home. I will not be going back.

Breakfast was wonderful, dinner not good. Undercooked meats, missing parts of orders, forgetting parts of orders, but friendly staff, I had to cancel the rest of my reservations for dinner on vacation because of food quality. Cold side dishes upon arrival. Raw center of wagyu burger. Missing chicken on a chicken Caesar salad.
