A great place in Cortona Amazing coffee, snacks. wonderful, friendly and very helpful staff , a pleasant experience.

This became our go to place in Cortona to have a few drinks and watch the world go by. We found this little bar to be a great place to relax and chill out in the shade and as it's right on a square in Cortona it's great for people watching too. However, by far the best thing about Bar La Posta was the waiter Simonne! He was very friendly, great with the kids and gave us a first class welcome every time we were there. He even recommended a restaurant for us to eat at one evening which was fantastic. Will definitely be returning next time we're in Cortona.

Went here for lunch with our family of 8. The waiter was friendly and helped us arrange our table. We ordered drinks and had a look at the lunch menu. He kept telling us he would bring some nibbles and we said no thanks because we just wanted a light lunch. Turned out the reason he offered us nibbles about 3 times was because the food was absolutely horrible. Each plate came out one at a time. Food was clearly microwaved after being removed from a sealed plastic wrap like you would get from the grocery store. We had to send a plate back because it was so unappetizing. My advice is get a nice drink and nibble but stay away from the food menu. Too bad cause the server was nice and attentive.

Wonderful place where you can have a lunch or dinner. really good dishes. tartare and exceptional braised cheek. recommended recommended

Lovely place, very courteous staff, and you really eat well spending the right. I recommend that we return. Good.
