Additionally, it's worth noting that the restaurant is family-run, which adds to the charm; they are as courteous and well-mannered as they are skilled in the kitchen. It's hard to say whether their food or their warm approach is more delightful. Their dishes not only offer the authentic aromas of India but their hospitality reflects the same warmth as well.
I found it quite odd that they only serve short grain, somewhat sticky rice with all their dishes. I had expected basmati to be the standard in Indian restaurants, and honestly, it affected the whole meal. The texture and flavor were very different from what I anticipated. Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience, and I won't be returning.
I don’t usually eat lamb or bread, but today I decided to order some curry with naan, and it was absolutely delicious! It really hit the spot! This place is always a fantastic choice when I'm in Corvallis. The staff is wonderful, and the food is consistently great. Just a heads up: their “medium” spice level is perfect—it's not too hot and not too mild. I love it!
The food was excellent, although the atmosphere was a bit quiet. We ordered chicken korma, lamb curry, garlic naan, chicken tandoori, and a mango lassi. It was fantastic that we could adjust the spice levels to our liking. We definitely plan to come back and would highly recommend this place!
I ordered the chicken makhani, which I do at all establishments. I enjoyed each bite of the dish. I do feel as if the level of sodium was quite high, although some people might enjoy this aspect. I will return to try another dish, soon.
