Lighting was minimal and it was really chilly, so I’d recommend bringing a jacket. Little on the spendy side but that’s just the world we live in nowadays. $40 for 1 main meal and a couple sides.
Ley is the host with the most! Biscuits and gravy are the bomb!
We arrived at the restaurant during a busy Sunday morning. We were given a wait time of 20 minutes but the staff was efficient and sat us within 10 minutes. We were greeted at our table within minutes of sitting down. Drinks were ordered and served in a timely manner at which time our order was taken. He ordered the country fried steak with hashbrowns and eggs over easy. I went for the spanish omelette with an English muffin. Omelette was fluffy and had the perfect amount of ingredients, the steak was perfectly crisp under the gravy, and hashbrowns were perfect. The bloody Mary was amazing and we look forward to trying the mimosas next time. I give this a five star review.
An absolutely wonderful place to support. Local families, local business. The portions are excellent. If you come hungry, you'll leave full.
I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I also like to know where I should spend my money. The corned beef hash here was mediocre at best. The meat was dry and there wasn’t a lot of it. The potatoes were pretty flavorless and had the texture of mashed potatoes before mashing them. The sourdough toast pieces were tiny and the orange slice was the end of the orange, not even edible. The over medium eggs were actually pretty good. The coffee was ok, but tasted cheap. The servers weren’t rude, but also not very friendly, hardly any smiles. Kind of had that small diner atmosphere, but it’s dark, not very lively, and not at all inviting from the outside. For a small cafe like this I was really hoping to have friendly service and good food for a decent price. Struck out on all of that. Spent over $18 with tip for 1 person. Not sure if it was just an off day or things are going down hill here, but I won’t be back.
