Amorelia Mexican Cafe - Costa Mesa

The restaurant was understated: a waiter and a bus boy. Only 3 tables still occupied the kitchen and waiters were slow. Owner stock napkins etc. and did not attempt to check on the diners. When we finally waited the checked we waited almost 25 minutes while the waiter and owner tried to get new system there to simply split a check into two. The service has deteriorated, but the food is excellent. The service inadequacies now weigh the excellent food. Too much trouble.

This is my father's favorite Sunday brunch spot for Chilaquiles. I wanted to make my friend try. You're never disappointed. I found this delicious Café de Holla nowhere else

Very friendly staff. Excellent Mexican food. The best Mexican coffee in town. The coconut fin is a must!

I've been here for years, but that could be my last visit. Not sure if the recipes are different or they have another cook, but things just don't taste the same. Even then, food was sometimes good and sometimes not so much. But this time I didn't even finish my record. Two other people in my party Echo the same mood, our tampiqueña was considering. The meat was chewing, tasteless and full of nerves. I didn't finish my steak and I actually cleaned out two pieces. The Enchilada gets worse and worse when I order this court. Could also call it a taco with a spray of salsa above. Server forgot to bring steak knives, never asked us what tortillas we wanted for our plates and actually challenged my party when we said he hadn't brought the right way. Also not a fan of them take refills for their drinks. They thought they'd throw us a bone with the prices they charge for their food. After all, they don't play old, classical music anymore. I loved the ambience, but they blow up Regueton, which was definitely a mood killer. Anyway, every time we come here, we say let them come back a few months and see if they have improved. I don't think I'll bother you.

Food Excellent. Ordered two happy Hour drinks and later told by manager that that employee was incorrect . Also $5 ice tea was WILL Not Go Back!
