El Toro Bravo - Costa Mesa

I've generally been quite satisfied with the service, quality, and great value at this restaurant. However, during my last two visits, I ordered tripa tacos and found them filled with little stones. So, when I went back for a third time, I returned the tacos for the same issue. Since the owner wasn't there, I asked a staff member how they prepare the tacos. He informed me that that's how they receive them and that they do some pre-washing, but it was clear the tacos weren't properly cleaned. When I pressed him on whether he eats them, he confirmed that he indeed does, despite the stones. Not the response I was expecting.

The food here is fantastic, and I absolutely love the Jamaican water—it's delicious!

Seriously! The food is amazing! I love the Carne Asada Burritos! My darling! My wife also loves the Carnitas! Soo soo good! So happy she reopened!

I heard about the good tacos of this place, but I was dissapointed by the bad service. After entry, the cash registers were paid out from the register and could not recognize us. And when they did, they told us to order on the other side, where we waited 10 minutes and no one came. We decided to just go.

It was delicious! I had Quesadilla w Meat and I was surprised to see it came w cheese, sour cream, lettuce pico de gallo on the side. My husband and kid had chicken taco plate and the taste was also very good! Chicken was nice and tender. My quesadilla was soft and crunchy on the edges, not salty and cut in good portions.
