Fishbonz Seafood Grill - Costa Mesa

We enjoyed fantastic service from the staff. The fish and chips were outstanding, but my fish tacos were a bit too salty for my taste. I would certainly recommend this restaurant, and I plan to visit again!

I visited FishBonz for the first time on a weekday evening with friends, and we decided to order nearly everything on the menu. The food was delivered to our tables in a unique way, which made the experience stand out from a typical restaurant visit. Everything we tried was absolutely fantastic! The dishes were freshly made and delicious, but the shrimp tacos were the clear favorite among us. If you're planning to visit, they are a must-try! We also have to go back to sample the fried calamari and butterfly shrimp. Honestly, everything we tasted was exceptional. I will definitely be returning! A big thank you to the amazing staff as well!

The food here was incredibly tasty. Out of everything we sampled, the only dish I didn't care for was the beans, which tasted rather ordinary compared to the other items that were full of flavor. The sauce for the rockin' shrimp was phenomenal, and I'll definitely have a hard time passing it up on our next visit. There's a spacious parking lot in the back, but it can be somewhat challenging to find a spot during peak hours.

However, the server who brought our food to the table was pleasant and friendly. We ordered the Cajun Seared Ahi and the Rockin' Shrimp Bowl. The Ahi was overcooked and had a strong fishy taste, though the rice and zucchini were enjoyable. On the other hand, the shrimp bowl was good with no issues. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this place. I hope others have a better experience.

We usually visit Fishbonz in Rolling Hills Plaza in Torrance, but we found ourselves in the Costa Mesa area and decided to check out this location. The food is just as fantastic as at the Torrance spot, but they offer an even wider variety of options, including some unique dishes we loved! This location is spacious and beautifully designed, with an upstairs seating area as well. We will definitely be back!
