Quattro Caffé - Costa Mesa

Service was excellent, however I can not say the same about the food. Better food can be found at the freezer section of any grocery store.

I have had good pasta and wine here at Quattro before, and I wanted to go back so I called in today (late morning/noon, 8/9/24) to make a reservation. A woman answered the phone and asked for my name and phone number, and the next moment she said please hold . I was put on hold for 4 minutes so I hung up (she may have my caller ID but I didn 't get any call back). I think customers deserve better than this.

We stopped by for dessert only, and while the staff seemed a bit annoyed, they did seat us. The waitress had a somewhat unfriendly demeanor. The music started around 6 PM; it was recorded, but the live singer was impressive. Overall, he performed quite well.

The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. Victor was very professional and friendly, and our server, Monica, was incredibly sweet. We are grateful for our experience and highly recommend this Italian restaurant.
