However the dinner was not up to our expectation. We choose a plate with an asian name in fact a mixture of rice, chicken and vegetables, not very tasty. For the desert we had a crumble. The bill was eventually far too expensive for what has been offered.
We found this restaurant through TripAdvisor and had dinner there with four. Very nice welcome; we took the suggested Mojitos as an aperitif, they were OK but not mixed to perfection. The menu is kind of limited, with three starters/main dishes/desserts each. Prices are rather high; we paid just over 200 Euro for four people; including a 0.5 litre bottle of wine which cost over 25 Euro (should have asked before ordering). Staff was very friendly; the view is very nice, although you get such views in many places in Corsica. Note also that the view is gone once the sun goes down, so don’t arrive too late. Generally, all of us found this restaurant nice but overpriced.
I can tell you a lot of thing about this placebut you have to go to feel the soul of this. Go! Go! Go!
If you are tired of the same ol' entrecôte or filet st. pierre, you are in for a great surprise... Hidden between the corsican hills, A Bandita serves a selection of non traditional meals, fusion inspired, well combined with a good bottle of Corsican rose', a spectacular setting and terrific views of the sunset over the sea, while listening to live music and enjoying great cocktails as well. Reservations a must!
Spectacular views and very good food with something different from all other places around. They opened in June 2013 and there are still some minor mistakes (and usual Corsica annoying things such as no Credit Cards). In August you should book 3 to 5 days in advance.I'm very confident that this will be the right place in the area in the next seasons!
