Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Friendly staff and great food! The Cottage Grove Popeyes seems to be the talk of the town and it?s been that way for months! I?m happy to say that all the hype was well deserved! We dined in and overall our experience was very good. The lobby was fairly clean though there were lots of crumbs on the floor mainly because when someone leaves there?s no time before another person comes to fill the void. The staff was very friendly and helpful despite having a never endinghoard of hungry customers both in the restaurant and in the drive thru, they even made regular trips around the lobby asking if customers needed anything. I ordered a 3pc Chicken tender combo and was pleased to find they had given me morethan 3 (I?m not sure if this was in purpose or a mistake but it?s a plus in my book : pricing is about the same as any other fast food join nowadays so no drawbacks there either. Overall the Cottage Grove Popeyes exceeded myexpectations and the long line and wait times are well with the wait!

6 cars ahead of me as I pulled in, 50 minutes later I have the order. There must be a more proficient way to serve chicken. $53 bucks spent. The issue was I ordered mashed potatoes with gravy in a separate container. They sent it out with gravy on it so I asked if they could fix it. The manager came out and asked for the bad potatoes back and said he would would fix it no worries. Next they realized there were no more sides available so we needed to wait. A few minutes latera person came to window with a small individual mashed I sent it back they were replacing a family mashed, she caught heavy attitude rolled eyes went off came back with them and a huge attitude. The person at the window was super nice andseemed embarrassed by there co workers attitude. Maybe the slow drive thru is planned to make them seem busier than they are kinda like a night club that creates a line. I hope they have a better day down there and a faster way to dish outchicken eventually happens.

My first time. Good food. I liked the gravy a lot. Very meaty almost like beef stew. Original chicken was very crispy and flavorful. Try it with the hot sauce. Service was not so great. Took a long time and they got wrong several orders while I was there.
