River Oaks Golf Course And Event Center

We had our wedding here in June and I can't say how well they did. Accommodating before hand for checking set up, meal choice and assuring us an easy day. To the day of, all was set up for our finishing decorations, they had plenty of staff for drinks, dinner and throughout the day and everyone was kind and helpful.While it's not the flashiest place the outside pictures turned out beautifully and everyone had a great time with plenty of space. Plus we used the bags and bocce ball areas and our guests enjoyed having more things to do. Might take a little bit to respond to emails only because they are always going and helping.

The staff were exceptional!!! The food by Chef Issac was exquisite and Courtney, the Event Coordinator went above and beyond to perfect all the details for the party. Golf course in great shape! Club house very clean service friendly and efficient!

The course is in great shape except hole #13 is not being used. They have a temporary par 3 as a substitute. A $5 voucher was provided to each of our group to use in the bar/restaurant for our trouble. There is some irrigation work being done on the back nine which would come into play on errant shots.

It was very overpriced and terrible service. There was a ranger that took a wedge from the side of the green that was my friends while we were playing the hole. Then came and yelled at us for being behind the pace of play because we wasted 15mins for the club and ball that he stole. Then got home and realized we were overcharged by $40 after the golf shop employee lied about the price that he was charging us. Strongly recommend playing a different course for less money like eagle valley.
