Starbucks - Cottage Grove

The manager, Cameron, was unable to perform his duties adequately at 6:15 am on a Friday morning at Starbucks due to the lack of hot water. Cameron did not arrive to work until 6 am when the store opened, and failed to turn on the espresso machine because the water was still heating up at 6:15 am. Additionally, they were also out of drink carriers, making it difficult for customers to carry three hot coffees without spilling in their car.

Do not bother stopping at this coffee shop if you are in a rush. The management is terrible. I tried to quickly grab a coffee, but there was only one overwhelmed young girl working. She repeatedly apologized to customers, explaining that it would be a few minutes because the manager had left and never returned. Despite it being a busy holiday weekend, the manager did not come back to assist the girl in making drinks. After waiting 20 minutes, I asked customer service to page the manager to come back and help. The manager never apologized or addressed the situation, leaving the girl to handle everything on her own. Another customer mentioned that this kind of issue is common at this Starbucks inside HyVee. Overall, the management of this Starbucks location is extremely poor.

First of all, I ordered a hot iced caramel macchiato and the worker (Reghan) behind the counter couldn't even perform such a simple task. Instead, she gave me a latte with no ice. The service was subpar and now I'm stuck with a lukewarm coffee.

Not a bad way to celebrate finishing a 5K over at Hamlet Park (they do it every Saturday at 9 am, just sayin). My cold brew was velvety smooth and the young gentlemen taking my order was pleasant and professional.

I had the most amazing experience at Starbucks today! Anna and Ava are two of the sweetest girls I have ever met! Super efficient and friendly! These young ladies definitely deserve a raise ??
