The service was excellent and the set menu was a pleasant surprise. Normally, after a degustation style menu, you are left feeling overwhelmed by the flavors but not here. The dishes were well-balanced and perfectly portioned. I will definitely be returning, especially considering the reasonable prices. Well done!
We arrived for a late lunch and decided to try the seafood menu. The portions were very generous and the wine list was impressive with excellent recommendations from the staff. The service was attentive and the pace was just right for our desire to relax. We sat on the shaded balcony overlooking the yachts on the water. Parking was easy and we thoroughly enjoyed the selection of wines.
When I was young, family Sunday roasts were a tradition. It's a shame they didn't meet the standards of Pilu at Akuna Bay. My friends and I visited on a beautiful Sunday, enjoying the drive into Kuringai Chase National Park. The "Pranzo della Domenica" - a sharing feast - truly lived up to its name. The food in the four-course meal was excellent. The antipasto with fresh bread offered a variety of flavors, tastes, and textures, including delicious arancini. We also enjoyed some perfectly crispy calamari. The fregola with prawns was delightful. The main dishes of snapper and tender Angus beef complemented each other wonderfully. For dessert, the coconut mousse with berries and a sweet wine were the perfect way to end a memorable meal. This is how Sunday lunch should be celebrated.
