Protein Foundry - Cottonwood Heights

It is so frustrating when you order from a place as much as I order from protein foundry. I almost always order an avacado toast. I don't know why the employees don't know what toast means. When the bread isn't toasted then by the time it arrives it is a soggy mess. I have just continued to let it go and not complain because sometimes, if you can reach someone on the phone after you order they might actually say yes they will toast it and follow through. However rarely. But today I received my avacado bread. Today not even an attempt to toast the bread. Just soggy regular bread. I know, my fault. I keep going back. I just need to change that. Don't advertise toast if you aren't willing to toast the bread.

I love this place but I have to lower the rating as they no longer accept cash. It's not posted clearly on the building nor listed on their website.If payroll companies still send out checks that require cashing, I should be able to buy lunch with those same antiquated methods. I know this isn't PFs choice and the world is moving this way in general, but what's a girl to do when her lunch break is limited to 30 mins her local healthy option refuses cash payment but doesn't indicate this barrier of access online anywhere?

Ordered a “Rio” bowl. Paid and tipped. 12-15 minutes later I approached the counter and was greeted with “how can we help you” I let them know I never got my bowl. They had to ask what I ordered which was a bit confusing because I was one of only three customers. Food was great service was terrible considering the employees outnumbered customers 2 to 1 the time I spent here.

We love Protein Foudry. It is by far the best place to get an acai bowl. Made fresh and they are always delicious!

High schooler/influencer spot everyone stuck on their phones, no one working. Tipping culture way out of hand, product is good but terrible service and really bad vibe.
