My wife and I visited a hot day to eat lunch. because it was so hot (over 32 c,) we asked to sit inside out the sun. this request was rejected, so we went. if they can afford to pay. customers, it does not say much about their hospitality. you lost. for happiness we found a far better restaurant on a local golf course and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The owner has not confirmed us at the arrival. then she ignored us all the time when we were in the restaurant (and it wasn't exactly busy). we had a three-course menu, so we were not exactly in and out in a few minutes. when we... left, she still ignored us so that we could say goodbye to her. she answered and looked like she was eating a lemon. we just paid 120€, so what's wrong with her? we were friends with French people who don't speak English, so that the speech was not excused. the young waiter was very friendly and friendly. the service was fast and correct. starter: tomatensalat was good and generous. the charcuterie was generous, but mainly contained standard, cheap supermarket sausage. much brot and butter. main course: the muscheln normanden were really excellent. dessert: very standard and boring. coffee: good. ambiente: a typical caffe on the sea with cheap tables and chairs. prices: start and dessert much too expensive for what they get. appropriate for the mush. we would go back to the muddles (and ignore the owner) but order nothing else.
My wife and I went to this brasserie when we were shown on a table, we sat down and the owner came by, cried that we had to move tables. we did as we said, but it had tied us up when we didn't. the table we showed him crazy.
From our hotel went by to check it out. the doors were open. the people seemed to sit outside and drink a drink. there was a woman behind the counter table. she asked if she spoke English, replied no. annoyed to ask if they were open and the general answer didn't seem to be. too much confusion to hang around.
On arrival, the owner did not acknowledge us. She then ignored us all the time we were in the restaurant (and it wasn't exactly busy). We had a three course meal so we were not exactly in and out in a few minutes. When we...left she still ignored us so we made a point of saying goodbye to her. She did reply but looked as if she had just eaten a lemon. Mind you, we had just paid so what is wrong with her? We were with French friends who don't speak English so the language was no excuse. The young waiter on the other hand was very friendly and courteous. Service was quick and correct. Starters: tomato salad was good and generous. The charcuterie was generous but contained mainly standard, cheap supermarket sausages. Ample bread and butter. Main course : the mussels Normandes were truly excellent. Dessert : very standard and boring. Coffee : good. Ambiance : a typical sea-side café with cheap tables and chairs. Prices : starters and dessert far too expensive for what you get. Reasonable for the mussels. We would go back for the mussels (and ignore the owner) but wouldn't order anything else again.
