Mcalister's Deli - Council Bluffs

There is no indication on the menu that the memphian is served hot. I would not have ordered it if I had known. Warm salad with mayo and mustard is not to my liking. I only realized this after I got home and unpacked my meal. My friend, who ordered a salad, said hers was delicious.

The service at this restaurant is terrible - we placed our order over 15 minutes ago and there is no sign of our food. The shop is empty and no one seems to be waiting for their orders.

I frequent this place about 4 times a week, and on Sunday night I came for dinner only to find that almost every table was dirty. I ordered the half veggie and the Savannah chopped salad. My veggie sandwich had olives on it instead of paprika. I also ordered food to go for my daughter, who has a milk allergy, and when I got home and gave her the sandwich, it was supposed to be the garden fresh turkey with balsamic vinaigrette but instead had mayonnaise. When I returned on Tuesday to address the issue, they told me they couldn't do anything for me. As someone with 20 years of experience in the restaurant business, I am extremely disappointed in the decline of this formerly favorite spot. The mistakes in my orders have happened before, but this time I felt the need to speak up. It's unacceptable how they are running their business and losing loyal customers. I used to enjoy the option to omit olives from my sandwich, but now it seems like they are not paying attention to detail.

Great location good food the staff could be a little more informative on there menu.

After a frustrating experience the management went to great lengths to make things right. This shows they strive to please their customers and improve their business.
