Feedback gevenIf the website says it should be open until 6pm, I expect the doors to be unlocked. I expect more from a company of this caliber. Disappointed, hearing my sons cry.
I stopped by to pass the time before an appointment at 9:25 am. When I tried to open the door, it was locked. I was hoping to sit down and have a coffee and teacake, rather than using the drive-thru. I was very disappointed.
We are loyal fans of Costa and consider their coffee to be the best. However, our experience at Costa Durham was disappointing. The toilets were dirty, the interior was dull, and we felt unwelcome as soon as we entered. It may not be the fault of the staff, but rather a lack of training. The way customers are treated due to Covid rules felt strict and unwelcoming, unlike other places that make you feel comfortable and at home. It's a shame because the coffee, as always, was excellent. Costa Durham could benefit from a makeover as other local competitors are providing friendlier service. We suggest doing some mystery shopping to see for yourselves. The Costa toasters were also excellent and offered good value.

I've been meaning to write this for a while but have not got round to it. Each time I visit this branch, either sitting in or driving through the service has always been excellent, the staff are always friendly and accommodating, always with a smile!
