Absolutely lovely Tearoom in Staindrop The County tearoom is set in small quaint village. The food is excellent and so reasonably priced. I had the Lasagna with side salad and garlic bread,my Daughter had vegetarian risotto with salad garlic bread also Absolutely lovely and piping hot both dishes so tasty. Definitely worth a visit and staff are so lovely x

This tea shop in pretty Staindrop village is a gem! Well worth parking up and having coffee, lunch or cake/ cream tea... and their Sunday roast is the best in the whole area (but you must reserve a table on Sundays, as it's so popular! ... The menu is extremely varied and everything is homemade using fresh ingredients... there is literally something delicious for everybody, incl. vegetarian and vegan options... The owners are very hands-on and really support the community with their wondeful food and good cheer (incl. making local deliveries . I cannot recommend highly enough and have gone back time and time again!!

Love this place. Lemon Meringue is the best and the staff so nice. We cycle there and it gives us the boost to get home. Thank you. John

Stopped here today on our ride and the lady who owns/runs the cafe helped us out of a hole with our bikes. A true act of kindness which we really appreciated and the bacon sandwiches went down an absolute treat as well. Thanks for your help today!

Just had a really lovely, tasty roast dinner here. It was so good and so were the desserts as well. So pleased we had booked because gets busy. We liked it so much we have booked to go back on Tuesday lunchtime as well. Really nice, helpful and friendly staff too. THANK YOU
