Feedback gevenDuring our recent visit, we ordered through the drive-through and my wife wanted the Double Big Mac, which was back on the menu. We also ordered a carrot bag, but when we arrived at the collection window, we were told they didn't have any carrot bags. Instead of offering a suitable alternative or refund, they suggested melon or cucumber. When we got home, my order was correct but my latte was warm while my wife's was hot. She ordered the Double Big Mac, but it only had 2 patties and a strip of bacon. The overall experience at Consett McDonald's was awful, with a full car park, delivery drivers camping out in the restaurant, and unhelpful touch screen ordering points. The staff seemed disorganized and didn't communicate well. The restaurant used to be decent with quick counter service and pleasant staff, but the addition of technology has made it worse. It now seems to cater more towards app users and delivery, neglecting customers who want in-store dining. It's a shame that it can't go back to how it used to be.
My experience at this restaurant was absolutely disgraceful. The staff was rude and unprofessional. I tried to order using the app, but it didn't work. I then went through the drive-through, but the tills went down. After waiting for 15 minutes, I finally got to the window to place my order. I ordered a meal for the kids and a cheeseburger for myself, although I wanted milkshakes but they were always out. When I checked my order at the next window, the cheeseburger was missing. I was told I needed to go back round the drive-thru to reorder. I refused and asked to speak to a manager, as my original meal would now be cold. The manager listened to my complaint, but another manager eventually told me to leave and go somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Additionally, there is no way to file a complaint on their website.
The driver was initially upset with my son's behavior, but still managed to deliver the food. However, he then returned to our door and started swearing.
Cannot get an order right and then expect you to drive around again to correct their mistake for them. Attitude absolutely rotten also, the most appalling customer service I’ve ever seen
Ordered breakfast on the app l0.40 got to mcdonalds for 10.45 but the time we got threw the queue and to the window it has 11am and we were told our order would have to be cancelled. Then told we would have to order something else. The lady on the speaker did not seem happy and our £35 order turned into a £6 order all because the the service was not to the average speed.
