Sambucas Italian - County Durham

Anyone claiming this is the best roast dinner must not have much experience. The meat was dry and tough, the potatoes were dense, and overall it was very disappointing. The carrots and Yorkshire puddings were the only highlights. Not enough to redeem this Sunday meal.

I had an excellent dining experience for the second time at this restaurant! The service was great and well-managed by the manager. The food is top quality and a great value. I will definitely return.

After a visit to the Pentashaw Memorial we stopped at a time of deceit. the place is light and airy and we were not too close to another table. I ordered a marinara pizza and it was delicious. my friend had the vegetarian and that was good. I had to finish panacotta, that was a bit on the firm side, but still nice and my friend had the homemade pistachiogelato that she said was really good. the waiter was friendly and tested for my food allergy. everything in all it was a good sound, and we would not have thought if we were going back in the next opposite

The staff are fabulous. Food nice and restaurant is in a lovely unit. We didn’t need to book. We were staying over in Chester le street for our anniversary and turned up on the Sunday at about 7pm to a warm friendly greeting. Service was...quick. Food nice. Chocolate fudge cake was delicious
