Late lunch , excellent . Seems lots of activates, on evenings afternoons organised here! Like upcoming beer tasting afternoon. Pity ours was a one stop visi5. Really nice , helpful staff. Pub , nice clean
Popped in for a late lunch. Nice and clean and tidy. Staff very efficient, polite and helpful. All of the family enjoyed our meals and drinks.
Just not the same since they reopened after lockdown. Always great food before but now it is overcooked and not very nice. Have given them a good chance to get things back to normal but been in today and the fish was over cooked, much smaller than usual and was really just batter with a bit of fish in the middle. One curry pot was thick and gluey and the other was tepid and watery. Beer isnt too great either. The Stella and the San Miguel both have a tang which is unpleasant. Probably give this place a miss now which is a shame because it was brilliant before and we always enjoyed the food.
I stopped in for a meal and a beer after work at a Wetherspoons location. Using the Wetherspoons App, I ordered a pint of Fosters and the new sirloin steak cooked medium, served with peas, chips, mushrooms, tomato, and Jack Daniels Honey Glaze sauce. I was extremely disappointed with the meal. The tomato was uncooked, the peas were hard and cold, the chips were also cold, and the sirloin steak looked overcooked and dry. The only good part of the meal was the sauce, which seemed store-bought. To make matters worse, the booth table I was seated at had leftover food and dirty utensils on the floor underneath. This was without a doubt the worst steak dinner I have ever had.
