La Terrasse - Cournon-d’Auvergne

Honestly, I wouldn't have entered the place if my friends wouldn't have been on the forefront. We entered the place and we're greeted with a dodgy looking bar full of locals. The patron however guided us quickly in the to the dining area where he explained the menu to us. Gratinated sea food or entrecôte as mains, a salad with some meat or a Terrine. The meat in then salad was chicken hearts, but tasted really nice. The terrine was kind of fatty and not to my taste. The main course was great, the entrecôte cooked to perfection and accompanied with some huge portion of potato gratin. The cheese board featured some local choices and was really nice. The dessert was almost too much to eat but absolutely lovely. The bill for 4 people was just above 100€ including coffees and digestives. So don't be put off by its first impression. There're only two meals to chose from but all freshly prepared and giving you a real glimpse into French cuisine.

Obligated to put a star so that my opinion may appear, but it does not deserve. My wife after eating a martinic pizza at noon the same evening food poisoning. Four days in the beds, cancel... After calling them, they say it's impossible because the products are fresh... They come out of the freezer and leave without pizza... We don't have the same references to fresh products... Restaurants to avoid if you want to end up alive... Don't wait for a miracle... And good hiking to all

The best of all according to my child. Fine paste, excellent, copier. Nice salad. Excellent family reception. Stop doing it, right next to the Gévaudan Animal Museum.
