Chrissy's Lunch Box - Courtenay

I was pleasantly surprised by my dining experience at this restaurant. The prices were very reasonable and the food was amazing. I especially enjoyed the bacon-wrapped burger topped with a large onion ring.

This restaurant is a great pit stop, very similar to Mountain Woman at Britannia Beach. I ordered the mushroom cheese burger for $7.50 and others in my group had the bacon onion ring cheese burger for $8.

Watching the person behind the counter making our two burgers was painful, it took so long. Could have gone to MacDonald's and back in the time it took to get some very ordinary food. I wouldn't have gone back to this place anyway, but notice that it's now under renovation and seems to be getting ready to reopen as a different place. Just as well in my opinion.

Wow never disappointed in the food . Great hotdog and awesome fries .the Hamburger may not be the prettiest looking but my god the taste. They even went so far as to wrap one in lettuce to make sure it was gluten free. For a good bite to eat after golf go there.

They build a delicious burger, cannot remember the last time I have had a burger of this quality. The service was top notch.
