Food was very tasty, prices very fair, place was nice and clean and bright, service friendly, what more can you ask for,
Never have I had to ask for Chopsticks before in an asian restaurant. Coming from the mainland, I 've had really good asian, I 've had really bad Asian.. THIS PLACE, IS BELOW THE WORST I 'VE EVER HAD. The food was mediocre at best, definitely designed with non-Asians in mind, no flavor, no spice, no taste. everything was greasy.. the CASH ONLY was a put-off (with no signs) at all saying CASH ONLY.. Having to go across the parking lot to a cash machine, and pay extra fees, because it wasn 't my branch machine..
A very very good restaurant with some very good tasting delicious and very yummy Vietnamese food and very nice friendly staff and very strict COVID-19 safety policies and since the start of the horrible COVID-19 pandemic they have only been doing takeout but come down to order some takeout of some very good food you will love it.
I have eaten here many times before Covid-19 hit, and the meals were generous and tasty, and good value. It is always busy, and the service quick. Closed for a while at the beginning of the pandemic like everywhere else, Saigon Noodle House is open again for take away only. I decided to phone in a lunch order for myself. I picked 18b, which is a beef fried noodle dish. I went from a photo of the menu on an internet site, which apparently is out of date. The meal was ready on time, and bagged on a table in the middle of the restaurant. They space the bagged take aways 2 metres apart and you pay (cash only , then you grab your order. I wore a mask as always when entering any business but 2 women were in there, no masks, arguing over which bag belonged to who. After I paid, outside the restaurant they were on the sidewalk still arguing. (WTF??? . Anyway, the noodle dish was quite good, but I paid more than I bargained for: $13.43, so SNH either has boosted prices to survive during Covid, or it was a Covid surcharge. If you order, confirm the price on the phone. I wish them the best in surviving this pandemic. If you go, please wear a mask and wait your turn to pay at a safe distance. Some people here complain about cash only payment, but it is their place and I have no problem with it. There is a cash machine a few minutes away if you are short. I look forward when in restaurant seating is safe again, so I can order a fav pho and Vietnamese ice coffee.
