We ordered three festive specials and when we got home from picking up we realized they had missed all of our stuffing, chocolates and our extra chalet sauce that we ordered. We called the store to rectify the situation and the manager offered to credit us the stuffing but we had to come in to the store in the next few weeks because after that they would no longer offer it. When we realized there was more missing from our order and called back the manager was clearly annoyed and asked “what would you like me to do about it”? This completely ruined our experience of the store and the situation could have been easily rectified. The poor customer service looks poorly on a Canadian company.
Honestly I’ve tried to give this location more chances than it deserves. Tonight we ordered pick up. All the fries were the bottom bits… short, stubby. I will say this is the freshest I’ve ever received yet still the bottom scraping of the fryer. They forgot our extra fries we ordered as well as our drink and chalet sauces with one meal and the additional ones we ordered. One of the nuggets in the meal was actually just breading with zero chicken in it and the pieces are very small and the fact they give you these very small pieces hardly qualifies as a meal. The manager did make up for this and had them delivered to me within 15 mins which is appreciated yet this just happens far too much here. We also realized after that our dinner rolls were missing from two of the meals. On top of all this the foyer upon entering the restaurant reeks of sewage type smell. It is quite pungent. I would save your hard earned dollars and spend them elsewhere. The quality does not match the price. My meal for the family was over $100 this was such a disappointment.
Ordered from there yesterday around 4:30pm. Called around 5:15pm and spoke to a staff member who was extremely rude. She told me she didn’t have time for me. I asked for the manager who then was also extremely rude to me and also told me she didn’t have time for me….My food didn’t arrive at my house (which is a 5min drive away) until 6:30pm. Everything was cold except the chalet sauce. One order wasnt even correct. One order wasn’t complete, had chicken cartilage bones in the sandwich and there was barely any chicken in the sandwich. One order the chicken was so undercooked that it couldn’t be eaten at all.The horrible food wouldn’t have been so bad if the manager wasn’t extremely rude and her words “I don’t have time for you”I’m not sure how she has a job to be completely honesty. Obvious Swiss Chalet as a whole doesn’t care if they have staff (management alone) who is that they unprofessional and rude. The service and food speaks for itself. I will never eat or order from Swiss Chalet again.
So good....service was spectacular! And the food was even better. Highly recommend!!!
Food was amazing and came to the table very fast. One of the few swiss chalet's that still give the bowl with a lemon at end in Durham.
