Cheng's Garden - Coventry

Absolutely diabolical food ordered from this takeaway. I ordered King Prawn fried rice and spare ribs. It was dry and unseasoned, a total waste of money and time. I made the mistake of trying them again as had hoped they had improved since last ordering with them 3 years ago. Well what a mistake that was. I did call them and spoke with a very rude defensive male on the phone. He offered no apology, other than claiming 'there was nothing wrong with the food ordered ' then promptly hung up on me. If you want good tasty food please try Fortune House, which I will be sticking too in the future. The bad reviews are very true about this restaurant, they serve poor unseasoned food, with little effort in attitude or cuisine. Believe me they certainly are not eating the **** they are serving to customers. Ps To the owners who were so rude to me YESTERDAY 3rd May) on the phone I warned you I would post a honest review prior to you hanging up on me so there you have it)

One of the best in Coventry..Chinese food cooked by Chinese chefs! (Hugely important) now most in Coventry do not have Chinese chefs and their food is bland and tasteless THIS IS TOP SHELF CHINESE FOOD 10/10 always! always deliver very fast and it’s always piping hot and containers are so full the lids are trying to burst off would not recommend anywhere else in Coventry

After waiting for 2 hours for our food to arrive, we have been given various excuses for the past hour. We haven't had the chance to taste the food yet, but we are still hopeful that it will be delicious.

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious. It is the best Chinese takeout place in my area. I always prefer to pick it up myself to avoid waiting for delivery.

Worst Chinese ever full of grease and tasteless never again was recommended by friends but would not use again food was full of fat as well
