Although the factory is no longer there, much of its history is preserved on the pub's walls. Among the notable displays are incredible photographs of General Montgomery, who famously drove a Humber vehicle all the way to El Alamein. In addition to the affordable beer prices, the Humber features a full-size pool table for just £1 per game. Located across the street from the pub is Fruity Max, which offers delicious smoothies, waffles, and other healthy options at friendly prices, and is open until midnight from Sunday to Thursday, and until 2 AM on Saturday and Sunday, with delivery available. Just two doors down from the Humber is Universal Market, a Kurdish grocery store open until midnight every day of the week. While it's a cash-only establishment, there's a reliable ATM located right at the front. A fascinating historical note: according to Eddie, the Humber Hotel has a cellar where customers were sheltered during the night of the Coventry Blitz on November 10, 1944!
Great fun playing a gig there and the management were great as the crowd, free parking next to the venue.
The humber is a great pub very welcoming and they draw an excellent pint!
I attended a charity night at the restaurant. The entertainment was enjoyable, and we were able to raise a significant amount of money. It was a pleasant evening overall.
Very nice atmosphere, owners are absolutely amazing couple. Keep up with good work.
