Charm Eatery Cafe - Covina

I give this restaurant a full 5 stars for its food, atmosphere, waiter service, and drinks! The drinks were perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and the food was cooked to perfection without being greasy. A skilled chef knows how to create delicious dishes without compromising on health. Sage Social Eatery offers meals that leave you feeling fantastic while still being satisfying, with generous portions at very reasonable prices. The fruit bowl was absolutely stunning!

My friends and I visited this restaurant for brunch on Saturday around 1 PM, and it wasn't too busy. We managed to snag a table on the patio at the front, which was lovely. I observed that there are additional tables located at the back of the patio as well. I ordered the eggs Florentine Benedict, and it was absolutely delicious. The portion was quite generous, making it very satisfying.

The parking situation is frustrating! There are very few spots available, especially with a laundry and a 7-Eleven next door. Avoid parking at the taco place next door, as they have been known to call a towing service. When I inquired about the wait time, a staff member without a mask told me it would be an hour to two hours, while a friendlier girl with colored hair said it would be just 30 minutes. I noticed that the kitchen staff also weren’t wearing masks. While I personally don’t mind the absence of masks, it’s concerning for the children and elderly dining there. On a positive note, the food was delicious! Just a heads up, there’s only one shared, small bathroom available, and it doesn’t have any soap. This review reflects my experience during a time of strict mask mandates.

I sampled the chilaquiles and their house-made horchata, and I must say, the food was incredibly tasty—definitely the best horchata I've ever had. Just a heads-up: the chilaquiles come with a bit of spice, so consider that before placing your order. The ambiance is enjoyable and lively, with a lovely patio area for outdoor seating. The staff was enthusiastic and provided excellent service. I wholeheartedly recommend this place as an ideal lunch spot, whether you're dining solo or with friends.
