Yoshinoya Beef Bowl - Covina

I visited the drive-thru and had to wait 15 minutes. Although the service was a bit slow, the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered brown rice, and they were very generous with the pink ginger. I particularly enjoyed the beef and habanero chicken. I’m a big fan of the combo, and having a coupon made it even better as it saved us a lot of money!

The beef and veggies were just as delicious as I remembered, and the generous serving of red ginger really brought back memories. The habanero chicken was even better than I anticipated, and surprisingly, the clam chowder was a delightful addition to the combo—yes, clam chowder! I wasn't expecting to find that on the menu, but it was a wonderful surprise. The drive-thru did take a little longer than expected, but they made up for it by providing me with extra ginger when I asked. The price seemed quite fair, especially considering the portion size, which was more than enough for one person and could easily feed two. I ended up with plenty of leftovers to enjoy later!

The food was excellent—truly delicious and fresh. The interior of the restaurant was crisp and inviting, and the hot food was a definite plus.

This restaurant is a simple fast-food establishment offering "Japanese-style" cuisine. You get exactly what you pay for, which is totally acceptable. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl with rice, which wasn’t overly greasy, and it came complimentary due to a special promotion. While the food was somewhat unremarkable, it was satisfying, just as I expected. The ambiance felt a bit cold and impersonal, but that’s typical of fast food in 2021.
