This restaurant offers delicious, authentic food. The flavors are well-balanced—not overwhelmingly spicy, but thoroughly seasoned. We experienced a 30-minute wait on a Friday night, but they had heat lamps to keep us warm while we waited.

The restaurant serves truly authentic Mexican cuisine. It stands out as one of the top spots for Mexican food in the area.

I was pleasantly surprised by the vibrant atmosphere, which was quite different from what I expected. This restaurant stands out from typical Mexican spots in South Louisiana, offering a younger, more energetic vibe. Our meals were served in an impressively short time, considering how busy the place was. I ordered the Racheras, while my partner had three tacos, both of which were fantastic. It’s worth noting that if you prefer large portions, you might be a bit disappointed. My partner and I found the portion sizes just right, even if they didn’t match the larger servings often found in American restaurants. The service was friendly and engaging without being overwhelming, and we were really glad we chose to dine here. We left feeling satisfied—not overly full or heavy, which can be common with restaurant meals. I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to visit again soon!

The best food, atmosphere and people. By far my favorite place to eat with family and friends. We love Omar, Dulce and Oscar! They make you feel like family. The restaurant is always clean and inviting. The food and drinks are always satisfying and comforting. It’s become my comfort food.

Habanero’s is a MUST go to establishment! The food comes out quick, it’s delicious, and there is a variety to choose from. Oscar is so personable and pays attention to every detail. It’s obvious he takes pride in creating an enjoyable experience for everyone. My son always enjoys seeing him. The attention to service the entire staff gives makes for an enjoyable, relaxing experience. The atmosphere feels like you’re going to a family member’s house to eat.
