Chino Take Away - Cowes

I had the best fish and chips ever at this restaurant! Their potato cakes are also in a league of their own. The staff is friendly even during busy times. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch with delicious, freshly cooked food. I highly recommend this place!

I ordered the Burger with The Lot, it was very big and packed with salad, I was very disappointed however the the beef patties was of the frozen kind and not home made, if you are going to sell a hamburger please make the patties in house.

Owner is a complete jerk who lost it because my husband asked not be charged additional surcharge for ketchup when we spent $30.00 on food. He was literally pushing and cussing him out. Kept holding his fist up saying he was going to punch him....I walked over begging him to stop and he pushed me while I had my 6 month old baby in my arms. Many other patrons left. His staff stopped us on the way back and said that he should have never acted like that in front of a child. Leads me to believe that this wasn 't the first time this behavior has occurred. Stay away. The fish chips weren 't even that good. No flavor.

They sell Flakes Chips! Flakes are a flase name for sharkmeat. I can't believe that in a counrty like australia it is legal to sell meat from threathend shark species! Think twice before you eat flakes!
