Diego's - COZUMEL

We always walk here after landing . Great food and great service! Great place to kick off a great trip.

Stopped by after flying in for a quick lunch. What a great little local place with friendly local owners. Then caught a cab to our hotel. This will be our first place we go from now on. Best fish and shrimp tacos anywhere.

We read the reviews and made it a point to stop Diego's Tacos after arriving in San Miguel, Cozumel, as it lies directly opposite the airport entrance. Unfortunately our flight came too late and it took us a while to get our...rental and so we did it shortly before 4:00, but fortunately we did it just before they closed for the day. We ordered the fish tacos and shrimp tacos (their speciality) and we were not disappointed. They were excellent, and the price was very reasonable. We would recommend stopping here on the way to or from the airport.

We only had soft drinks here while we had to wait for the flight of our friends. The service was great! We had planned to have Tacos here with our friends, but their flight was delayed and with time they left the airport, Diego's was already closed....We went back to Diego's and managed to get a taxi for less than half the price of the shuttle we had taken when we arrived in 11 days earlier. Besides, the taxi was not crowded and we didn't have to stop 3 times before we came to our accommodation. We are all seniors in our 60s and 70s and it is a simple walk from the airport. Next time we hope we can try the food because it looked delicious!

Diego Jr. is there every day. Friendly service. Fish tacos are amazing. Steak and pig tacos weren't. The meat was very hard. We'll be back for the fish.
