El Caribeno - COZUMEL

We enjoyed our breakfast buffet every morning and had a few good dinners/lunchs. We really appreciated the local falcon that keeps the birds away. The service is a little slow, so don't go into the rush for lunch or dinner. The menu is...less limited, but we could find something to enjoy. Fish tacos, salads were good as the chips and various salsas served.

The setting is ideal: what a nice view on the beach! Whether you go for a snack or full meal they have a good variety of choice on the menu. Big portions, mainly at breakfast. Waiters are all very nice. Be ready to pay higher...prices that what's available in regular restaurant in Cozumel 10 minutes away by taxi but convenience and location are premium

Good for a drink but everything else is over priced for the quality. Table side guacamole isn't prepared table side unless you know to ask. Other than the oddity of the table side guacamole not being prepared table side unless you ask, service is very...good. The food off the menu is slightly better than the buffet. But my suggestion, have a drink here and then head into town for a better meal at a cheaper price.

Typical hotel restaurant where the prices are marked accordingly. my wife and I decided to try the restaurant as it is located in our hotel at our first night in the intercontinental el presidente. our spicy mezcal margaritas were simply in order. we ordered a...appearant first, a seafood ceviche tower that looked more than a splash on the plate. the food presentation is obviously not important here. the woman escape consisted of a very dry grilled chicken breast with half-cooked kartoffels. my escape of the Caribbean lobster was a sweat. for a $50usd or $1000mxp court it was cruel and terrible. also here was the presentation at the top. I didn't come with the truffle potatoes as I had ordered. lobster was best warm lauded and consisted of small pieces grilled in the bowl lobster thrown on the plate with a side of sweet and small amount of rice. I had to defeat our waiter oscar I found out later. came short with the same lobster pieces and a few extra pieces to please me what it conceals that it was a terrible dish. my second lobster was mush and disgusting, which I immediately spit on the plate. dehni, the manager came out later and apologized. we explained to her that for the prices and for such a nice hotel it was a shame that our dinner was well under consideration. she removed both the lobster and the buzz from our jack and offered a 20% discount when we returned what we did not. I'd be embarrassed if I had served the guests this meal if I had a restaurant and never came back. Save your money and go somewhere else. it was so bad. I hope the high-time celebration that began in the same restaurant, had better eating becase I would be absolutely pissed for a high-end with terrible eating.

We were in the presidente and ate here most days for breakfast or dinner. eduardo works in the bar and is simply fantastic, he ensured that the journey through an ice or something special for the young. he also remembers the little things they cooked their eggs or just a piece of ice in my whisky and so on. there is only no better service than that. also eating is great, that is the fresh fish! we're going back!
