Mama Linda 's Restaurant and Bar is off the beaten path in Cozumel and was the ending spot for the Amazing Cozumel Race our family participated in. I would NEVER have chosen this restaurant or probably never known about it if it weren 't for the Amazing Race. All that being said, it was a great place to eat and drink. The standard house beer was too watery/weak. Order brand beer or other drinks. Food was great and had reasonable pricing. Even had a DJ of sorts that was actually good. We loved our family experience there with lively crowd of Amazing Race participants. The staff was awesome.....
This was our last stop and it was nice to have a break before getting on the ship. I do caution you not to use a credit card or debit card here as their internet connection goes down often. Just make sure you have about $40 and you will be fine. The chips and salsa is good, the food is ok. We are used to spicy and crunchy type mexican food but it was fine in all. The service is good.
Did the amazing race while on a family cruise and this was the finish line. Great drinks (margarita) and the ceviche was AMAZING!
We finished a cruise excursion here and ate chips and dip, quesadillas and fajitas with drinks. I agree with previous posters that it was overpriced but they didn't mind that we shared two entrees among 4 people which worked out fine. I think cokes were $2 for a tiny glass, no refills. But we could have eaten that salsa/pico all day and they kept it coming. It's covered but very open sides so you feel like you're eating outside. Service was good and they had nice mixed drink selections. Definitely recommend if you happen to be in this area, I don't think I'd search it out though.
