So thankfully this was here for us to take some quick ways to cook with for a vegan breakfast or lunch in the studio, we had for the week when we had little time before tours/events. Trip saver! Updated by previous rating on 2023-02-04
This place has so many vegan products...Plant-containing meat they have the new over crispy chicken teeth, cheese, ice cream, many types of Indian lenses and sauces, Thai sauces, imported vegan snacks chips) and much more....They even have black eye beans....which is almost impossible to find anywhere in Mexico... I can finally get my African dishes
I found this place by chance last night and was pleasantly surprised by their inventory of vegan, organic and meat alternative products. The owner was very nice and helpful. They carry so many of the items/brands I use back home, which was nice to see. They also have a very impressive selection of Indian foods and spices that have been unexpected but appreciated. The only drawback was that most articles were highly overpriced compared to the USA and, above all, according to Mexico standards. I mean, I totally understand it: you are all imported articles, and it's a really tiny shop that probably doesn't buy in large quantities. It's just sad because they are far from the tourist area and could probably benefit from having a local clientele in their neighborhood, but with their luxury prices I'm pretty sure that prices can afford about what most of the locals in the neighborhood. Definitely worth the trip if you are looking for products that you would normally find in Whole Foods!
