Feedback gevenThis is truly one of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. At this moment, I can’t think of another! I was able to try some truly unique cocktails- the Cajulia made with “cashew fruit” juice, and the Batucada made with Batida of Cachaça, passion fruit and coconut milk. I enjoyed every bite of my meal — vegan ceviche, fish collars with Nikkei aioli, and banquette bread topped with Trinidadian curry (today’s special). The atmosphere and bartender really completed the experience. This was my second day in NOLA, but the first time I felt truly welcome and “at home” on the trip. This place gives the vibes of a hidden gem type of restaurant. Walking by, you wouldn’t think it’s much but the food is AMAZING! We ordered the vegan ceviche, Esmeralda salad, and vegan sausage beans rice. The first two were GOLD! So good! I was skeptical at first but I was pleasantly surprised with the flavors and quality of all the food. The beans and rice were very basic but still ok. It was the least wowing thing. We even spoke with the folks sitting near us and they were also super pleased with their meal. We did order drinks as well which were ok. I will definitely go back to try more of their vegan menu items the next time I’m in town. Vegetarian options: GREAT vegan and vegetarian options! Dietary restrictions: Saw that they had plenty of gluten free options as well.
Exceptional food and exceptionally slow. Lots of healthy and flavorful options that are easily vegan-able. Waited 20+ minutes for the check to come then and another 10 minutes to get our card back on a slow day. Vegetarian options: Vegan Dietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten free
Never disappoints....fish collars are my personal favorite. No pictures of food the smiles on our faces tell the story...... Vegetarian options: Woman's choice
Great place to dine with family... Noodles salad and Fresh mango drink were spot on.
