Great brunch spot, they open earlier than most, and the quality and price is great. Had been here once with my sister from out of town back in 2019 and thought Biscuits on Banks was better, but since the pandemic both restaurants redid their menus and I think Wakin Bakin is probably the best breakfast spot uptown. Not sure if we just came at a bad time, but the bowls were practically just beans. For 15 bucks per person. I'd love to try it again, we had amazing coffees and mimosas and a great server.

Their biscuits are my absolute fav! The service was warm and welcoming ^ ^ cant wait to come back!!

Easy like Sunday morning! We had a delicious stress free breakfast! Service was great. Staff were happy and welcoming. A lot of breakfast places have ridiculous waits but we were able to get seated right away. Going back today and Wakin is our new go-to for breakfast or brunch! Get the voodoo brew.

We walked in for some breakfast after a night out, and our party of five was sat in short order. Service was good for the most part and ****** Mary was good, but our food was served very far apart (i.e. two dishes were brought out and then waited more than ten minutes for another two, and then more time before the final dish).
