Highland Restaurant @ Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge

Excellent service and lovely ambience. Food was to a high standard as well! Pea veloute was exquisitely smooth and the eye fillet cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

I’ve been here a few times over the years and it never disappoints. The roaring fire, great food and wine and beautiful alpine views, I mean, what’s not to love.

Good food let down by ‘messy’ service. In other words the service was not professional enough and thus not in line with the vibe the restaurant was trying to create. The staff are doing their best but they are simply not trained well enough eg empty water glasses, food arriving at different times etc.The food is nice and it’s great to see Tasmanian produce showcased!

Fine dining at cradle mountains. Wallaby meat was interesting dish. Would definitely come again and staying at one of the cabins next time.
