Number 7 - Craigavon

The restaurant is overpriced with poor service and low-quality food. The tables were not cleared and the staff seemed disinterested, except for two Foreign National ladies who were excellent. The staff that served me were playing on their phones instead of focusing on their work. The portion size of the Roast of the day was very small. I was disappointed to see that the next customer received a much larger portion that looked the same as mine. It was clear that the management has failed as the staff seemed uninterested in driving the business and did not take care of their appearance or job duties. If this were my business, I would make some significant changes.

This restaurant has really gone downhill. We arrived early expecting fresh food, but were disappointed. The mashed potatoes were hard and grey, the carrots were limp, and the roast pork and beef seemed to have been reheated from a few days before, as the meat was tough and flavorless. The entire meal tasted like it was made days ago and simply reheated, and the portion sizes were small for the price. The waitress did not appreciate our feedback and was extremely rude, essentially telling us to eat somewhere else. It's clear that the business is struggling and trying to save money. We will not be returning.

The staff member at this restaurant lacked social skills. Despite the fact that breakfast is pre-cooked, we waited for nearly ten minutes behind just one person in line. When we politely suggested they should have more staff, the employee took offense as if it were our fault for inconveniencing them by ordering a simple breakfast of brown toast, scrambled eggs, and bacon along with two coffees and a tea. The server visibly angered, slammed our change on the table and forgot to bring the tea, having to return to fix the mistake. In the midst of this chaos, I took the opportunity to check on my elderly aunt and even had time to butter a scone. I recommend avoiding this place altogether, or at the very least avoiding the rude server.

Used to be quite cheap and cheerful. Now they've raised the prices way beyond the level that can be justified given the school canteen-esque food. So it's no longer cheap. The lady on the till with the big fringe is possibly the least pleasant human being I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. Some of the staff seem genuinely nice and pleasant but she seems intent of sucking any charm or life out of the place so it's no longer cheerful. Don't think we'll be back.

I recently visited N7 and witnessed a mouse scampering across the floor during my meal. This was incredibly concerning and made me question how the restaurant is able to remain open, and with a 5 start hygiene given, such a serious health violation.
