Feedback gevenFirstly no complaints on food, actually I thought it was excellent. The service is a little slow, struggling abit or could do with more staff or maybe it wasn't full staff that day, I dunno but took a long time for order to be taken. Once order was taken food was served in a reasonable time thankfully. The reason for order delay apparently was because kitchen was too busy. Spent over £30, a tiny bit expensive I thought compared to old wee Barneys. I am not comfortable on those benches, hurts my back so that's a turn off. Summary: restaurant quality food, restaurant prices in a busy little cafe. I would go back but not looking forward to sore back.
So I've went several times over August and the first couple times really impressed with the portion size and customer service however my third visit today Thursday 24th August I wasn't impressed. I'd brought my mum as was so impressed by last couple times . Anyways the kids meals well let's just say portion size greatly reduced . I got a Caesar salad was beautiful however it had a bone in it. I give it to the girl and not one mention or apology from the chef , not impressed. It's the little things that make good customer service. Please take on board
Under new ownership, the service at this restaurant was very disappointing. Our male waiter seemed to be in a rush and had very little time for us. We had to ask for our drinks after waiting for a long time, only to be told that the drink we ordered was not available (with no drinks menu provided). The food was alright and came out quickly, but the poor service really detracted from the overall experience. It may just be a matter of teething problems, but I wish the new owners all the best.
I have been to many places for breakfast, but Wee B's was a disappointment. It was a greasy, cold mess with minimal portions. The food was really poor and not worth the money. I wish we never went and it was a waste of time. Goodbye.
My daughter and I went to this restaurant for lunch last Friday. Unfortunately, the table was sticky and the order was messed up. We were asked to pay before even receiving our food, which was incorrect and missing cutlery. The gravy and coleslaw were not as expected, and my pastie turned out to be a battered burger. The service was poor, the communication was lacking, and the cleanliness was subpar. The meal was also expensive for what we received. Overall, I was very disappointed and will not be returning anytime soon.
